Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Junior Python / Ruby on Rails Developer Intern to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan.

This is a full-time, on-site, internship-based position designed for fresh graduates and early-career professionals with 0 to 6 months of experience who are passionate about software development and eager to develop their technical skills.

The selected candidate will work closely with our development team to build, maintain, and improve software applications while gaining practical experience under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Support back-end development and REST API integration.
• Work with databases and perform basic database operations.
• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.
• Learn and apply software development best practices, testing methods, and version control.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and communicate progress effectively.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Qualification
• Fresh graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• 0 to 6 months of software development experience; academic projects, personal projects, and previous internships are considered valuable.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Basic knowledge of back-end web development and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Git and version control.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
