Role Description

• Administer Zscaler ZIA policies (URL categories, SSL inspection, DLP) per approved requests.
• Triage user web access issues; analyze logs and SSL inspection outcomes.
• Manage PAC/agent configurations and traffic steering for branch/roaming users.
• Coordinate with identity teams for SAML/SSO integrations.
• Produce usage/threat reports and policy exception registers for service reviews.
• Maintain allow/deny lists with expiry/justification; audit quarterly.
• Validate SIEM integration and reconcile missing fields/feeds.
• Support coexistence and transition activities alongside ZTNA and office network changes.
• Participate in change windows for SSL inspection or global policy updates.
• Keep KBs current for common client/browser troubleshooting.
• Assist with egress path updates during office moves or ISP Wi Fi shifts.
• Validate data protection (DLP) hits and escalate suspected exfiltration.
• Align proxy policies with WAF/firewall rules for consistent end to end behavior.
• Track certificate pinning impacts and coordinate with application teams.
• Publish monthly KPIs and exceptions to governance forums.

Qualifications

Zscaler ZIA policy management, SSL inspection, DLP, PAC/agent deployment.

SAML/SSO and Azure AD identity flows.

SIEM/log interpretation and browser/network troubleshooting.

Knowledge of ISP managed Wi Fi impacts and traffic steering.

Change control and stakeholder communications.
