Role Description The PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power web and mobile solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient PHP code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, integrating front-end components with back-end logic, and troubleshooting application issues.

The role involves collaborating with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements, improve performance, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews. The PHP Developer will also help optimize existing systems, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with best practices in modern web development. This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for building and maintaining scalable server-side applications.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for writing modular, reusable, and maintainable PHP code.
• Experience with Front-End Development for integrating user interfaces with back-end services and ensuring seamless functionality.
• Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (such as Laravel or Symfony) and relational databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control tools (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to analyze requirements, solve technical problems, and communicate clearly in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, API design, and performance optimization is beneficial.
