Hiring: Sr. Product Engineer – Full Stack | Java + React

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Location: Islamabad (onsite)

What You’ll Do

• Own features and product initiatives from technical design through production release.
• Develop user-facing applications using React and backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes and public cloud platforms.
• Design and optimize systems for scalability, concurrency, latency, and reliability.
• Build real-time voice and chat experiences and supporting APIs/services.
• Develop reusable React components, APIs, and service patterns.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into high-quality, usable software.
• Create technical designs, API contracts, documentation, and implementation artifacts.
• Use Grafana, metrics, logs, and traces to monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
• Ensure appropriate testing, observability, failure handling, and production readiness.
• Participate in code/design reviews and continuously improve product and engineering quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Engineer building and shipping user-facing products.
• Strong expertise in React or Java/Spring Boot, with working knowledge of the other.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, containerization, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments.
• Experience building scalable, low-latency applications involving concurrency, real-time communication, and failure handling.
• Experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, streaming audio, or real-time voice/chat is highly preferred.
• Practical experience with Grafana and observability, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and production debugging.
• Strong understanding of testing, reliability, performance, monitoring, and production readiness.
• Experience with reusable components, service patterns, API standards, or design systems.
