The Role muSharp is looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to build and extend the Java core of an enterprise wealth management and investment platform, including CRM, deal pipeline, and AI assistant capabilities.

The role requires strong hands-on backend engineering expertise, with a focus on scalable APIs, authentication and access control, database design, integrations, and enterprise-grade development practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Build REST APIs in a large, multi-tenant Spring Boot / JPA codebase.

· Implement authentication and access control: Entra ID sign-in (OAuth2 / OIDC), JWT (RS256, JWKS), roles, and record-level visibility.

· Design SQL Server schema changes and safe migration scripts.

· Integrate with other services, including REST sync with a Laravel module, Azure Service Bus and Blob Storage, and AI services.

· Write tests and review pull requests.

Must Have

· Java 17+, Spring Boot 3 (Web, Security, Data JPA / Hibernate 6).

· JWT and OAuth2 / OpenID Connect (Entra ID or similar).

· Microsoft SQL Server or similar: schema design and query tuning.

· REST API design and OpenAPI / Swagger.

· JUnit 5, Mockito, Git.

Nice to Have

· Azure (App Service, Key Vault, Service Bus, Front Door).

· QueryDSL; Spring AI or LLM API integration.
