I am a Finance and Operations expert having over 18 years of invaluable working experience in Pakistan, South Sudan, the Philippines, and Afghanistan (Afghanistan remotely from Pakistan). I am specialized in managing the implementation of effective and efficient financial, operational, and compliance activities to deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies, and guidelines.
Being a member of the senior management team, I provide specialized advice and report to senior management on overall financial and operational areas as well as to ensure robust collaboration and coordination of support function teams, so that Programme teams are fully equipped to efficiently deliver activities in a financially robust way.

My operational management skills include day-to-day management of the operations departments and proficient in handling operations functions entailing management of grants, sub-grants, projects’ budgets management, cash/bank management, Accounting cycle, payroll management, taxation, donor financial reporting, managing annual/quarterly forecast, financial analysis, financial compliance, formulating policies & procedures to facilitate internal operational process controls, detailed account analysis, month / year-end processing, funding tracker, master budget/portfolio budget, GAP, BVA, procurement trackers, Human resource hiring tracker, capacity building of both finance and non-finance staff on organizational operations process and procedures etc. In addition to this, I have a very good grip on ensuring compliance of different donor grants/funds like FCDO, USAID, OFDA, CIDA, AusAID, DANIDA and UN Agencies etc.

Furthermore, this has entailed meticulous financial planning, budget management, and compliance monitoring, all while adhering to the stringent guidelines and regulations established by both organizations.
