Plan engagements by understanding client business processes, internal controls, and related risks.
Create time budgets for audits, communicate plans clearly, and coordinate work schedules for timely completion.
Collaborate with the team to design effective audit procedures using Grant Thornton methodologies.
Ensure consistent methodology in preparing work papers, recording and summarizing audit procedures with approved guidelines.
Assist in developing recommendations for corrective actions by evaluating internal controls and risk management.
Identify, communicate, and propose conclusions on technical areas of financial reporting and audit issues, finalizing engagements within agreed timelines.
Work closely with teams and clients to establish reporting frameworks/standards and build key client relationships.
Manage firm resources and staff across multiple audit engagements by delegating tasks, maximizing productivity and achieving audit goals.
Enhance technical and professional skills through formal training, ensuring effective supervision, professional development, and on-the-job training for junior team members.
