Independently leading 2 Maintenance workshops while reporting directly to Directors. Managing fleet of 146 buses (MAN, Yutong, Higher and Daewoo) with impeccable breakdown record.
Key Responsibilities
- To set up new workshops according to organization’s SOP’s so that smooth transition can take place whenever organization takes over system.
- Responsible for planning and arrangement of all required tools, materials and equipment on scheduled maintenance including alternate arrangements in close liaison with Operations department.
- Planning and evaluating the results of preventive maintenance and its effect on maintenance budget
- Conferring with engineers and technicians to investigate and solve failure/breakdown issues.
- Managing the store by instituting materials planning and control, purchasing, goods receiving, inventory management, and invoice verification.
- Keeping maintenance projects on schedule and within allocated budget
- Acting as the coordination point for all communications, engineering, reporting and support activities thereby ensuring project deliverables were realized within strict timescales and without undue disruption. And further ensured all department workers to follow the safety policies and procedures.
Handled the training of new trainees and existing staff and made different department wide roles for different domains of engineering disciplines to keep the work in flow and to prioritize each department for its specific role.
