I worked as a house officer after finishing my MBBS. I was responsible for the following:

• Worked in the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and Radiology.
• My job involved doing rounds with senior doctors, assisting them in surgeries and taking patients notes.
• I have experience in all minor procedures e.g. intubation, putting IV lines, catheterisation, drawing blood samples etc.
• I am also capable of giving first aid i.e. CPR, resuscitation, doing sutures.

Medical Officer - Al-Noor Medical Complex

Medical Officer emergency ward and medical wards.

• My job included working in both emergency and medical wards.
• Making sure all the files of the patients were timely updated with daily progress notes, vitals and any changes in medications and their dosages.
• In the emergency I routinely performed minor procedures which included intubation, IV access, catheterisation, blood sampling and suturing/ dressing of minor wounds.

Observership - Jinnah Hospital Lahore

I worked in the Surgery department as an observer.

• My job included assisting senior surgeons in surgeries.
• Working in the minor operation theatre where we did sutures and dressing on non-emergent patients.
• Working in the emergency which included triaging, giving first aid, admitting patients to specific departments and providing the necessary medical aid.
