A 2025 BS Public Health graduate combining hands-on hospital exposure with practical experience in emergency response and disaster risk coordination. Trained across nutrition, microbiology, infection control, and clinical trial departments during rotations at Rehman Medical Institute, and interned with the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, assisting with emergency operations and relief coordination. Comfortable with research design, data collection, and report writing, backed by involvement in national-level health research conferences.

Looking to join a hospital team as an intern to put this public health background to work supporting patient care, infection control, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Internship Trainee – Disaster Risk Management at Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) (2025-10 – 2025-11)

• Shadowed daily activities inside the Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) and the disaster management control room.
• Picked up practical exposure to situation reporting routines, weather monitoring tools, and emergency communication channels.
• Studied hazard profiles and past disaster records to understand which areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are most disaster-prone.
• Built a working understanding of disaster preparedness, early warning systems, emergency response protocols, and relief management.
• Saw firsthand how coordination works during floods and similar emergencies, including how relief efforts reach affected communities.
• Came away with a clearer picture of PDMA's role in disaster response, resource management, and community support.
