Working as, Senior Officer HSE (Engineer-II) at Cherat Cement Plant (capacity 6700 TPD), my duties and responsibilities (but are not limited to).
- Preparation of HSE Plans, Procedures and SOPs in accordance with Local, National & international Laws.
- Preparation of HSE inspection Checklists & Forms.
- Collect data from site for the calculations of Total Man-hours, Safe Man-hours & Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)
- Preparation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annually HSE Statistics Reports.
- Conducting regular HSE-inspections of all site activities
- Review of the daily inspection reports of the HSE Team, and ensure the close outs of observations
- Conducting HSE Meetings with CCCL Staff & CCCL contractors and record the Minutes of Meetings (MOMs)
- Prepare the documents and records required for ISO Audits (EMS (ISO 14001) & QMS (ISO 9001) and ensure its compliance
- Rectify the Non Conformity Report (NCRs) of 3rd party and internal HSE audits.
- Prepare overall plant Risk Assessment and implement the control measures to minimize the risk
- Ensure the compliance of Permit to Work System (PTW) for all site activities to prevent the occurrence of incidents
- Conduct investigation of all incident/accident (i.e. Near Miss, First Aid Case (FAC), Medical Treatment Case (MTC), Loss Time Injury (LTI), Property Damage/vehicular accident & Fatality etc.) to find the real causes of accident and prepare reports accordingly
- Participating in conducting the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to find the exact root/underlying cause of accident
- Implement of incidents recommendations at site to prevent it reoccurrence and prepare the follow-up summary based on the remedial/recommended actions
- Prepare summaries and record the HSE Leading indicators (Visible Felt Leadership (VFL), HSE Observations, Toolbox Talk (TBT), HSE Drills & HSE Trainings) conducting by all CCCL employees and rectify the observations of indicators
- Conduction analysis of all HSE Leading indicators on monthly basis to determine its performance
- Deliver Trainings to all CCCL employees & Contractor Staff as per HSE Annual Training Plan
- Participating & assisting seniors to conduct HSE drills as per HSE Annual Drill Plan
- Successfully implementation of critical HSE standards/advisories/good practices; HSE committees (i.e. Confined Spaces Entry, Energy Isolation, Work at Height, Personal Protective equipment, Conveyor belts, mobile equipment and quarry management etc.) are being formulated under the supervision of facilitators (of HODs rank) and Champions (of Managers & above ranks) which will provide their recommendation based on their technical experience regarding safe systems of work.
- Provide safety induction and conduct safety orientation for new CCCL employees, visitors, etc.
- Responsible to conduct inspection of Fire Fighting Equipment after a frequent time to determine their adequacy.
HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT ENGINEER - MASOOD TEXTILE MILL LIMITED - Faisalabad, Pakistan

Working as, HSE Engineer at Masood Textile Mill, I was mainly responsible for overall activities related to HSE site Management. Major responsibilities included (but included to),
- Supervision of site HSE Staff
- Prepare, Review and Submission of HSE Documents related to the project, such as HSE Management Plans, HSE Procedures, Forms and Checklists etc.
- Revision of daily inspection report from the HSE Staff on site
- Preparation of Risk Assessment and Control for site activities
- Revision of JSAs related to site activities
- Preparation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annually HSE Statistics Reports.
- Participating in HSE Audits, Incident/Accident Investigation and preparation of incident/Accident Reports
