I am a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for making mental health care accessible and meaningful. My work blends evidence-based practice with empathy, whether I am supporting clients through therapy, developing structured programs for emotional regulation, or raising awareness through writing and outreach. I enjoy creating safe, collaborative spaces where people feel heard and empowered, and I value opportunities that allow me to combine clinical work with research, teaching, and community impact.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with supervised training across child, adult, and community settings, including Mayo Hospital, Shadab Training Institute, Deaf Reach School, and Baham Foundation. My experience spans psychological assessment, case formulation, and evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, Gestalt, and more) with diverse populations such as children with neurodevelopmental disorders, adults with psychiatric conditions, members of the deaf community, and marginalized groups including female sex workers and individuals with HIV/AIDS. I have facilitated workshops, developed SOPs for online therapy, and proposed initiatives to improve accessibility for the deaf community.
Alongside clinical work, I have contributed to research in areas such as academic perfectionism, burnout, and psychometric evaluation, with conference presentations at national and international levels. My background also includes content writing, teaching support, and community-based projects, reflecting my commitment to making psychology accessible, practical, and socially impactful.
I I completed my MS in Clinical Psychology, a two-year full-time program comprising 46 credit hours of coursework, a research thesis, and over 840 supervised clinical placement hours. The program provided intensive training in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions, with placements across hospital psychiatry departments and special education facilities. Through lectures, tutorials, role plays, and case report writing, I developed strong skills in case formulation, culturally sensitive interventions, and ethical practice.
My training emphasized integrating theory, research, and clinical practice to deliver effective, client-centered psychological care.
