I am a highly skilled and experienced physician with a specialization in Nuclear Medicine. With over 27 years of experience in the field, I have established myself as an expert in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including diagnostic imaging, therapeutic interventions, and radioisotope treatment.

I am from Pakistan. I did my graduation “Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery” (MBBS) from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1989. I joined Government service in April 1991 after my house job.

I did Master in Science (MSc) Nuclear medicine in 1996 and Fellowship, Fellow College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in 2004. After FCPS, I went to UK for a period of 9 months and got training in therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and PET. I did diplomas in Diagnostic Ultrasonography and Health profession Education.

I worked in different nuclear medicine setups as head of department. I am supervisor, faculty member and currently the Dean of Nuclear Medicine Faculty College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). I successfully trained 12 FCPS and 23 MSc fellows.

I have contributed in research and published 29 National and International papers and also author of book chapters in Nuclear Medicine text books. I am the only Professor of Nuclear medicine in the country.

I am retiring from my current service on 30th Sep 2023 and could join the next service from 1st Oct 2023. Sir, I am taken as expert in many areas of Nuclear medicine and can contribute to start new services in your esteemed organization.

1. General Nuclear Medicine: I did more than 55000 cases of major, minor and complex general Diagnostic Nuclear Med procedures in adults and paediatric patients; including Musculoskeletal sys, Oncology, Pulmonary, Genitourinary, Endocrine, Hematopoietic, Gastrointestinal, Central Nervous Sys, Lymphoscintigraphies, Sentinel node detection, PET/CT, SPECT/CT and other miscellaneous studies.
2. Nuclear Cardiology: Independently performed and reported more than 17500 cases of Nuclear Cardiology. I am enjoying the best positive feedback from cardiology and cardiac surgery experts in home and abroad. In cardiology did Myocardial Perfusion SPECT with Physical & pharmacological (Adenosine, Regadenoson and Dobutamine) stress, Gated SPECT, Myocardial viability, First pass, MUGA and dual isotope myocardial studies.
3. Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine: Successfully treated, more than 11000 cases of hyperthyroidism and Ca thyroid.
