About

I am a Postgraduate-Trainee Doctor with 6 year experience collectively (5 Year experience as a General Surgeon and 1 year experience as a Demonstrator in Anatomy). Currently, I am working as FCPS postgraduate Trainee in CMH Peshawar (General Surgery) since 4th July 2022. I graduated from Rahman Medical College Peshawar in 2020 which is considered one of the top ranked medical colleges in my country and is also on the WHO list.

I am a team player who supports colleagues in sharing their workload and an efficient communicator who can tend to patient's needs. I also have good procedural and surgery skills. I am deeply passionate about education, particularly in the field of surgical sciences, where teaching plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The dynamic nature of surgery, combined with its profound impact on human lives, inspires me to share knowledge and foster critical thinking in students. I find great fulfilment in breaking down complex concepts into understandable lessons and creating engaging learning environments that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and clinical reasoning. Contributing to the academic and professional growth of aspiring General Surgeon not only energizes me but also reinforces my commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in healthcare education. Postgraduate Resident General Surgery (FCPS) - Combined Military Hospital Peshawar - Peshawar, Pakistan

A surgeon trainee in a tertiary care hospital is responsible for comprehensive patient care, beginning with history taking, physical examination, and forming initial diagnoses. They assist in ordering and interpreting investigations and help prepare patients for surgery, including obtaining consent and coordinating care. In the operating room, they support senior surgeons and progressively perform procedures under supervision.

Postoperatively, they monitor recovery, manage complications, and ensure proper documentation of patient progress. They actively participate in emergency and on-call duties, handling acute surgical cases and assisting in urgent interventions. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining records, writing discharge summaries, and organizing workflow.

Alongside clinical work, they attend academic sessions, engage in teaching, and contribute to research activities.
