I have been working in the academic field as an English language instructor for over 2.5 years. As a teacher, my contribution in the success of my learners has only made me more passionate about my career. Having dealt with the ongoing technological advancements in the educational setting has made me gain the skill of devising appropriate lesson plans using resources that cater to the requirements of every learner.
I have mastered my skills on online teaching platforms as well, Microsoft teams, Google classrooms, Zoom etc. Language learning is a process that requires patience and grade appropriate teaching plans to assist learners with reading, writing and speaking the language in a comprehensive manner. I aspire to grow in my career and my fervour for teaching pushes me forward to change locations, interact with students from different backgrounds, make them learn and learn from them since teaching is all about learning.
As a young, driven and dedicated individual I would prove myself to be of great value to the institution and students I get attached to.
From my working experience as an English language teacher, I have learnt that learner's needs should be catered according to their ability level. I have had the opportunity to work with learners of all age groups and different ethnicities ranging from primary to secondary and now graduate students. This opportunity made me understand that students need to be handled differently as per their age and mental capacity.
