Mr.
Soomro is an experienced professional, having good hands-on experience in development and humanitarian sector including public health promotion in emergencies. He has worked in all major humanitarian emergencies taking place in the country. He is experienced in planning, development and management of humanitarian responses (emergency management) in multi-cultural environment.
He worked in number of projects focusing on Sustainable Livelihoods, Food Security, Disaster Preparedness and Climate Change Adaptation. Mr.
Soomro holds professional ability to lead teams independently, manage programmes of Humanitarian Emergencies, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Disaster Risk Management, Climate change Adaptation and WASH programmes in different cultures. He assisted different stakeholders including national, international NGOs and different line departments of Government in relief, rehabilitation, preparedness initiatives and research in humanitarian emergencies. He is an adept in building new programme opportunities and establishing successful development as well as humanitarian programmes for building resilience.
