Hamna Sahar

A creative and research-driven Textile Designer, graduated from the University of Sargodha with a Bachelor's in Textile Design (2026). My final year thesis 'Joys of the Local Culture' was a self-initiated research and design project connecting Pakistan's traditional Rali craft with contemporary street culture, resulting in a hand-stitched textile collection that bridges heritage and the everyday. During my internship at Nishat Mills, I applied this same depth of thinking in a commercial design environment — developing print artwork, colourways, and seasonal surface design.

I am now ready for a full-time Textile Designer role where thoughtful, original design work matters.

• Contributed to print and pattern development for seasonal collections within the Surface Design department.
• Produced repeat-ready digital artwork in Adobe Photoshop, prepared for fabric printing with full technical accuracy.
• Developed colourways and seasonal colour palettes aligned with current market trends.
• Gained end-to-end experience of the commercial design pipeline from brief to production-ready file delivery.
