About

Computer Science graduate with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JWT, and PostgreSQL. Built secure RESTful APIs, AI-integrated backend services, and contributed to a production-oriented healthcare platform during a remote internship at Novasinc. Passionate about scalable backend development and clean software design.

Experience

Java Backend Developer Intern at Novasinc (2026-05 – 2026-09)

Built backend services for MediMentor, an AI-powered clinical decision support platform for junior doctors and rural healthcare professionals, including a public blood-donor network.

  • Developed 40+ RESTful APIs (Java 21, Spring Boot) across authentication, patient management, AI chat, document processing, drug-interaction, and dosage-recommendation modules, using Controller-Service-Repository architecture with Spring Data JPA and PostgreSQL.
  • Load-tested the API suite with JMeter, achieving a 0% failure rate across 107,786 requests at 500 concurrent users with sub-second p95 latency (884ms); tuned async task executors and connection pooling to sustain that load.
  • Diagnosed and fixed a production Spring Security bug causing false 403 errors on async (CompletableFuture) controller responses; implemented JWT auth with refresh token rotation and instant session revocation via in-memory tracking in the JWT filter chain.
  • Built an async document-intelligence pipeline (OCR.Space + Groq vision fallback, Cloudinary uploads) for automated clinical document summarization, and extended AI chat with image-attachment support and structured JSON response parsing.
  • Designed and shipped a public blood-donor network (7 endpoints) with dual doctor/public onboarding, geolocation-based search, and automated status-expiry scheduling; added per-user rate limiting (Bucket4j) for login and search endpoints.
  • Containerized the application with Docker, documented APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI, and collaborated via Git/GitHub in an Agile environment.
