The ICU Technician's position is vital to the operation of MWVS. They apply their professional skills in the intensive care unit and isolation unit in the care, management and comfort of any hospitalized patient. The ICU technician is entrusted with caring for the sickest patients in the hospital.
The ICU technician must be a detail-oriented person who can make good decisions, prioritize cases, have excellent time management skills as well as maintain MWVS's high standard of care and communication. An ICU technician needs to communicate clearly with the doctors, other hospital personnel, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care that they need. ICU technicians must share a firm belief in the quality of care we provide and be able to demonstrate that level of care and skill.
It is important to know and understand our services and recommendations and be able to clearly convey the value of the services to the clients. Excellent nursing and communication skills as well as commitment to outstanding patient and client service are essential.
