Hina Kanwal

• My degree is in Public Policy at post-graduate level with 3.83 GPA, a graduate degree in Economics with Bronze medal and my previous around 2 year post-degree experience of research related tasks with my supervisor as their research assistant, and from that 3 months working on FAO project as a research intern in PIDE, 1.5 months experience as Research associate in PIDE on the project of ADB has provided me a well-rounded background and enabled me to develop an analytical/logical approach to handled tasks, software skills, and the create ability to work under pressure.- I am reliable, hard-working with strong attention to deal, and eager to learn about new research methodologies and statistical software. I am able to work well both on my own initiative and as part of a team.

Jan, 2020 and mid-2021, I engaged in freelance work as well as contributed to multiple research projects. Specifically, during this period, I served as the second lead author for a Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) project at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and collaborated with my supervisor on various other research endeavors.

Subsequently, from mid-2021 to 2022, I worked as a research assistant on an Asian Development Bank (ADB) project at PIDE and also pursued additional freelance projects.

Furthermore, I have forthcoming research report as a second author titled "Food Loss and Waste in Pakistan" and presented a conference paper as the lead author at the IBA Karachi in March 2022 on "Education for Sustainable Development: Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice."

I am currently working on two journal papers: 1) "Environmental Education for Sustainable Development in Pakistan: Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices" as the lead author, which is near submission, and 2) "Economic Instability in Pakistan" as the second author, which is a work in progress.
