Client Portal (CP) is a modular application developed using Spring boot with a Micro services-based architecture. The portal is used by paradigm's clients, primarily physicians, to create and submit medical test orders for laboratory processing. The application consists of multiple small, independent micro services, each responsible for a specific domain or functionality.
These include: API Gateway, Authentication Service, Client Service, Patient Service, Case Management Service, and Report Management Service. The main workflow allows a physician to log in, select or add a patient, and create a new test case by associating the client, physician, and patient data. Once a case is submitted, it is forwarded to the paradigm lab through integration with the Tiger system.
During the processing stages, different internal users like triage staff, lab technicians, and pathologists interact with the case. Technicians input test results, and pathologists review all data to make a diagnosis and sign off the report. The finalized diagnostic report is then available for the submitting physician to view and download.
Each micro service is developed in Spring boot, deployed independently (e.g., vi
