Junaid Ahmed

Dr Junaid Ahmed is a seasoned researcher and software developer. His recent research and publications are in AI and machine learning. His Phd is from The University of Manchester, UK in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

I have over 20 years of professional experience in academics and software engineering, including expertise in wireless communication, real-time embedded systems, system programming in C/C++, computer architecture, operating systems, and audio digital signal processing. I have held various positions in academia and industry, including Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lead Embedded Software Engineer at JROS Solutions Islamabad, and Senior Software Engineer at Streaming Networks. I have demonstrated strong technical skills and have a track record of improving system performance and resolving complex issues.

In my various roles, I have also utilized Linux, TCP/IP sockets, and Agile methodologies, among other tools and practices. Additionally, I have experience in teaching and conducting research in the field of wireless communication, artificial intelligence, image compression and coding.

I have a PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester in the UK, with a focus on Wireless Communications. I have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in the USA, specializing in Digital Signal Processing, and Telecommunication Systems. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey, majoring in Telecommunication Systems and Computer Architecture.
