I have 30 plus years of experience in Community Mobilization, Livelihood’s recovery, climate change, Community based Disaster Risk Reduction, and School Feeding contributing to the “RESILIENCE BUILDING”. From 2010 - Feb 2022, worked as Programme Policy Officer (Fixed Term) for WFP led resilient programming. I have implemented relief and recovery and development project for WFP, FAO, CRS, Cooperate sector and Government.

I did agriculture (MSc Hons) with a Graduation in environment and development (Mexico & Japan). Specialist in Relief, Agriculture, climate change, disaster risk reduction, school Safety programme, nutrition, school feeding and community-based livelihoods resilience programming.

• I am Emergency Relief, Recovery and Resilience Expert with 30 years plus experience. Worked in all Major Emergencies; Conflict affected IDPs, Earthquakes, and Floods etc. 
• Expertise in Relief Operations, community-based Livelihoods, School Feeding, Social Protection, Agriculture and Forestry, Disaster Risk Reduction, Environment & Climate Change, Cluster Coordination, community mobilization, Resource Mobilization, Research and Development, Monitoring and implementation and Natural Resource Management
• Coordination Experience with relevant Government departments, UN, DFID (FCO), EU, ECO, USAID and other prominent donors.
• Led bigger teams and established new field offices. Performed as Team Lead for CRS and WFP, Head of Community Development for AKRSP (Aga Khan Network) and Head of Office for FAO.
• Well versed in Cash and Voucher programming – for the first time in Pakistan and jointly with government, I have started cash support for girls’ education in the Tribal Areas.
• Implemented relief, livelihoods, Education activities under COVID and prepared SOPs for the protection of community and partners against COVID during food and cash support operations.
• Provide technical support to CO to position this topic in the social protection space
• Develop a position paper on emergency school feeding as a shock responsive social protection tool

• Performed as part of the Country Management Team to discuss the plans, policies, challenges, and activities.
• Worked for: 12 years with Government Agriculture and Extension departments, 3 years for Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO), Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and working for other reputed Organizations such as Aga Khan Development network, SDC etc.
• Worked as Programme Policy Officer for World Food Programme (Apr 2010 – Feb 2022). In WFP led Relief, Livelihoods, School Feeding, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Teams.
• Extensive Experience in Cash & Voucher Programming for Relief and Recovery including FFA and Education. 
• 13 years of Cluster Coordination experience & acted as Focal Person for Cash Working Group
• Performed as security warden for WFP and acted as security focal point for FAO.
• Used to extensive traveling and willing to work in Hard Area to extend the program activities.
• Having strong interpersonal, team building, technical and management experience with outstanding communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills.
• Excellent Proposal writing skills for resource mobilization. Played exceptional role in Donor’s Relations.
