As a trained professional, my priority is harboring a safe space where open expression is encouraged without judgment, embracing a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals. With experience in combining multiple modalities, I offer personalized and individualized care, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs. My focus on attachment and trauma enables me to guide clients through healing and self-empowerment.
Central to my approach is relational therapy, emphasizing strong, trusting connections to explore emotions and behaviors. I am dedicated to empowering clients by fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
As a Trainee Psychologist, I gained valuable experience in two distinct settings. At Mind Professionals from March to June 2022, I focused on working with children with special needs as a Trainee Child Psychologist. This involved conducting one-on-one sessions, implementing individualized education plans, and providing support tailored to each child's unique needs.
From October 2022 to May 2023, I continued my training at Punjab Institute of Mental Health, where I worked with adult patients in the Psych Ward and Rehabilitation Center. My specialization in Drug Rehabilitation included various psychotherapy modalities, assessments, group therapy, and individual counseling. Throughout both roles, I worked under supervision to develop my clinical skills.
I completed my MSc. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Beaconhouse National University from September 2021 to June 2023, achieving a CGPA of 3.85. My research during this program focused on exploring attachment styles, alexithymia, and marital adjustment in newly married women in Pakistan, demonstrating my dedication to understanding psychological factors influencing relationships and mental health.
