Muhammad Irfan

I am Muhammad Irfan from Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. I completed my M.phil in Microbiology degree from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. During my education, I performed jobs as a Teacher, Microbiologist, research associate, chemical store manager, and teacher assistant.

I have been serving the people as a teacher since 2014. I taught Science subjects from the 8th class to the 12th class, especially biology. I am the first person who discovered the mobile colistin resistance(mcr-1) gene in E.coli isolated from environmental samples specifically wastewater.

I served as a tutor of microbiology at the Institute of Microbiology, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. I served as a research assistant in microbiology at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. I served as a chemical store manager at the Institute of Microbiology University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
