I am a seasoned Professional Consultant Procurement. I have practical experience of over 25 years with Public Sector (T&T now PTCL, ERRA and GoAJK), Telecom, IT, Education and Development sector. Knowledge of Procurement Procedure of International Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, USAID, IRD and DFID etc. I have Knowledge and implementation experience of Pakistan's Public Procurement legislation and PPRA regulations.
A part from routine planning, coordination, and procurement functions i.e. evaluation of bids, issuance of work / supply orders, purchasing of all commodities, services and turnkey projects. I have experience of purchasing of technical products (Solar Panels, invertors, batteries, IT and telecom related products, machinery and equipment etc.) and managing supply chain operations. I have proven ability to resolve a variety of complex procurement problems, developed and established special protective terms and conditions for international contracts.
Furthermore, I have high caliber of producing timely operation related reports, preparation of Operations budgets and strong negotiating skills. I have proven conceptual, analytical and evaluation abilities to conduct independent research and analysis, identifying issues, formulating options and decision making in multi-cultural environment.
Experienced and innovative with strong Procurement/Logistic & supply chain management experience and business administration skills. Monitoring and Evaluation of Large Programs in Government and Private sector. Highly articulate, confident and persuasive team-builder, able to motivate and communicate to achieve exceptional business performance.
High personal integrity, and able to relate to and create trust in all. Solid understanding of procurement processes, business process re-engineering, procurement planning. Evaluation of bids and issuance of purchase orders, purchasing of all commodities, services and maintenance of registered vendor databases. Having Technological Awareness-Solid Computer Skills, MS Office, SAP, M.S Project, ERP and e-Procurement.
Honors degree in Electrical Engineering & MBA in Project Management.
