I have extensive experience in the field of Islamic education and scholarship, having held various positions at several prestigious institutions in Pakistan. Currently, I am serving as an Associate
Professor of Islamic Thought and Civilization at the University of Management and Technology in Lahore, where I also manage courses and sit on the departmental graduate committee. I am also the Editor-in-Chief of Research Journal TANAZUR at the Institute of Religious Research and Perspective Pakistan, where I oversee editorial policies, content production, editorial staff,
and content budgets. Additionally, I serve as the Editor of Research Journal MIFT at the
Department of Islamic Thought and Civilization, where I strive to maintain the quality of the journal by publishing quality papers and promoting freedom of expression within the cultural,
constitutional/legal framework.
Previously, I served as Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies and Head of the Islamic Studies
Department at the University of Sargodha, Lahore Campus. I have also taught Arabic Language and Islamic Studies as a lecturer at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and Forman Christian College in Lahore. I have also served as a Chaplain at the Defence Housing
Authority and Valencia Housing Society in Lahore, where I provided religious guidance,
conducted sermons, and organized cultural events. In addition to my academic and scholarly pursuits, I have also served as a Teacher of Classical Religious Thoughts at Madrasa Nusrat-ul-
Uloom in Gujranwala, where I advised on Madrassa education and provided counselling to students.
I have a strong educational background with a wide range of qualifications in Islamic Studies,
Arabic Language and Literature, Philosophy, and other related fields. In 2022, I completed an
International Post-Doc Fellowship at the Islamic Research Institute of the International Islamic
University in Islamabad, Pakistan. I hold a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of the
Punjab in Lahore, where I wrote my thesis on “Contemporary Western Approaches towards
Radical Islamic Movements”. I also earned a Master of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature,
and a Master of Arts in Philosophy, both with a first division from the University of the Punjab.
Furthermore, I have an M. Phil in Islamic Studies from the Shiekh Zayed Islamic Center, where my thesis focused on the Significance of Quranic Orthography. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Punjab and a Graduation in Islamic Sciences (Dars-e-Nizami)
from Wifaq Ul Madaris Al Arabia Pakistan. My extensive academic background has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in my field of work.
