- Operated and expertly maintained multiple fire response vehicles to include conducting major repair to existing department Ladder Truck
- Operate tractor-trailer trucks with a weight rating of three tons or more loaded with various types of cargo, such as consumer products, raw materials or new vehicles.
- Assess the cargo truck before each trip to ensure that all operating systems are in good working order and safety equipment is loaded up inside the cab.
- Ensure cargo security by routinely checking cables and fasteners along with rotating load weight for optimal distribution inside of the trailer.
- Transported hazardous materials in a tractor-trailer, and made sure that all relevant safety regulations were followed during the route
