Detaching motor from my RC car and making a fan from it was my first engineering project at the age of 6. I didn`t choose Electrical Engineering, it chose me. I started EE with motivation to make an impact on the community.
Thanks to a supporting friend, we developed an 8-bit programmable processor out of Logic Gates in our second semester, it was a big time achievement for us to stand out of the crowd, go against the flow and be a different being. This spark ignited the motor inside me and now, I don`t let this spark go cold. I didn`t want to be someone who plays with the circuits on breadboard his whole time during graduation.
I chose to upgrade my skillset by signing up for industrial projects. They helped me understand the market expectations from an engineer and design solutions to many problems that I never even knew existed. A jacket that could increase safety for a bike riders during crash, a robotic nurse that could dress basic wound and a personal AI to keep me going through all of this.
Projects made a great engineer out of me, but this was not enough. The world had already evolved out of these basic applications. It was time for me to do the new.
I started research on my FYP and wanted it to be novel & helpful not only for Pakistan but the whole world. Working with an international team of PhD students during my Bachelors FYP was a wonderful experience. I had to match the level of the Doctors in order to keep my seat on the table. As result, I developed World`s FIRST neural imaging pipeline (NIP) and a supporting algorithm to provide forensic analysis (FAN) in collaboration with International Scholars.
Upon the directives of Pakistan`s PM in 2020, a medical devices manufacturing facility was established and given task of developing a full-specification medical ventilator. I got into the design & development team due to my experience from a ventilator lab prototype that I developed in my home during the pandemic. Thanks to the Almighty, I am and always will be proud to say that I am the lead design engineer of Pakistan`s FIRST & Indigenously developed Medical Ventilator.
With a will to break the barriers, I led many other novel projects that would upgrade the healthcare sector of Pakistan to a whole new level.
I have dedicated myself towards the technological independency of Pakistan and helping the world excel during this journey as well. There will come a time if Almighty wishes, when Pakistan will become a country with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art techniques in all the domains. I want this to be my legacy for the next generations.
