As an Environmental Engineer with a deep interest in the corporate world, I’m driven by a desire to create meaningful, sustainable change. My journey has been shaped by a strong commitment to learning, personal growth, and connecting with others through clear and thoughtful communication. With a solid technical foundation and a growing understanding of business and strategy, I thrive in diverse environments and enjoy working alongside people from different backgrounds.
I'm passionate about using my skills to support organizations that care about the planet and the communities they serve.
I’m an Environmental Engineering student at NUST with hands-on experience in sustainability, health and safety, and environmental compliance. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with organizations like OGDCL, PMCL Jazz, and WWF Pakistan, where I’ve led and contributed to projects focused on HSEQ systems, e-waste management, carbon footprint reduction, and medical waste disposal.
At OGDCL, I designed an HSEQ reporting tracker that boosted efficiency and reduced reporting errors, while also assisting with ISO audit documentation and safety inductions. During my time at Jazz, I led an E-Waste Project that cut waste-related costs by 20%, and I contributed to the development of procurement policies aligned with the Paris Agreement. Earlier, at WWF, I conducted field assessments and training to improve medicinal waste handling at pharmacies.
Beyond internships, I’ve taken on leadership roles as President of the NUST Environment Club and Vice President of FICS, managing large teams, securing sponsorships, and organizing national-level events to promote environmental awareness and innovation.
I’ve also worked on sustainability-focused design projects, including a lead-acid battery waste management system and natural water purification tablets, both of which aim to tackle real-world environmental challenges using practical, innovative solutions.
I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. Throughout the program, I gained a strong foundation in key environmental and engineering principles, with coursework in areas like Environmental Health and Safety, Solid and Industrial Waste Management, Air and Noise Pollution, Environmental Economics, and Water Treatment & Supply Design.
My studies also included Environmental Impact Assessment, Energy Resource Management, and Project Planning & Management, which helped me understand how to design sustainable systems that align with both technical and regulatory standards. This academic experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to environmental sustainability and public health initiatives.
