I have over 15 years of overall experience in OBGYN in different positions in public and private settings after MBBS and FCPS in OBGYN. I have been working as a senior registrar/specialist in the OBGYN department of the Sobhraj Maternity Government Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan, since passing FCPS in 2020. It is one of Karachi's oldest government teaching hospitals recognised for graduation and post-graduation training.

I have been assisting, performing and supervising various tests, pelvic and breast exams, and surgeries and procedures, including using vacuum pumps, episiotomies, cesarean sections, polypectomies, myomectomies, hysterectomies, etc., in routine. I help patients by diagnosing and prescribing treatments for disorders and diseases during routine check-ups on patients. I have been monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum in the outpatient department and in the wards.

I like educating patients about disease prevention, detection, and reproductive health during their visits. I direct, train, and supervise medical staff on proper procedures and protocol, including undergraduate and post-graduate trainees, nurses, physician assistants, and med techs. We collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel to facilitate poor and needy patients.

I also strive to keep myself up to date with current practices and innovations in OBGYN. I aspire to be an infertility specialist or laparoscopic surgeon in the next few years.
