My name is Roy Mahfooz, I completed my graduation as a BS Software Engineer in 2012. I am from Lahore, Pakistan
I am an expert on WordPress themes and plugin development with a lot of technical support experience.
I know WordPress API and WordPress coding standards very well and have worked on WordPress for over 6 years.
I like working on complex coding problems.
Here is a brief timeline of my work experience from 2013 to 2022.
After graduating in 2012 as BS Software Engineer, I started working as a freelance web developer.
I worked in PHP at the start then properly started working on WordPress in 2013, until the start of 2014, I worked on small PHP and WordPress projects.
1 - I was the lead developer at ThemeTrail for the Realty Real Estate WordPress theme development for 3 years from February 2014 to March 2017.
I was responsible for all the development and support during this period.
I was also responsible for the customization work, they were taking customizations also.
For development and repositories, I used Bitbucket there.
I also got the chance to work on many plugins which included Woocommerce extensions also in my free time during that period.
It was remote work with a small team. It was a full-time job.
2- I worked with BrighThemes from February 2016 to December 2017. I developed the Advisor WordPress theme and Castle Real estate theme from scratch.
Advisor theme is available on ThemeForest. It was full-time contractual work.
3- In march 2016, I started working on different project-based jobs, theme customizations, and plugin development. I would especially like to mention alpinemarketing.com. I developed the network of websites for Alpine Marketing and its main website, then worked with them from time to time. It was a part-time gig.
4- March 2017, I started working as a WordPress developer and technical support expert at MyThemeShop ( mythemeshop.com ). They are a themes and plugin development agency that is registered in Singapore.
5- March 2018, I started working as a WordPress Technical Support Expert at Theme-Fusion ( theme-fusion.com ). They are the author of the all-time best-selling theme on the Envato marketplace. It was the tier 2 support and involved very complex queries from customers.
6- Current Job: I am working full-time with NDIC, I joined them in Feb 2021. The role is WordPress/Woocommerce Developer
