Intern Ophthalmic tech - PIMS Optometrist - Islamabad, Pakistan

• Assisted senior optometrists and ophthalmologists in the Outpatient Department (OPD) and Operating Theatre (OT), gaining broad exposure to various patient cases and surgical procedures.
• Conducted comprehensive eye examinations, including vision testing, refraction, and visual acuity assessments for a diverse range of patients.
• Developed strong technical skills in operating essential ophthalmic equipment such as autorefractors, phoropters, slit lamps, and tonometers.
• Gained practical experience in prescribing and dispensing glasses, as well as fitting and managing contact lenses for both routine and specialty cases.
• Participated in the clinical care of pediatric and adult patients, learning to adapt examination techniques and communication skills for different age groups.
• Maintained detailed patient records and collaborated with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care and follow-up.
