Currently, working as corporate (senior) manager taxation in Hashoo hotels Limited / Pakistan Services limited. I’ve been given the responsibility to supervise the tax affairs of the PC & Marriott hotels.

Worked as revenue management specialist (manager) - tax from September 2021 to September 2022 for USAID Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Mobilization (KPRM) Activity. The broader objective of this activity was to leverage local talent and resources to solve provincial tax problems, build upon the revenue generating capabilities of newly merged districts and increase public oversight of taxpayer money. My core responsibilities included maintaining internal technical news journal update on latest local, national, and international developments in tax; support to the management around reporting to Program's Head office (Chemonics) and USAID; support to the admin team on event management tasks; moderate meetings/ workshops between tax authorities, subcontractors or consultants; develop and implement tax and other capacity building activities; managing programs interventions for the tax authority; identify/ support/ manage tax authority's systems for revenue improvement and organizational development support and preparation of program's technical documents.

I've worked with EY Ford Rhodes as a supervising tax executive from March 2020 till September 2021 and got promoted as a assistant manager. I had the opportunity to work with Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman, Chartered Accountants, Islamabad from November 2015 to December 2019 . During my practical experience in EY Ford Rhodes and Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman as a tax professional, I've had the opportunity to work with leading companies including fortune 500 Companies providing services in various sectors including Banking and Finance, Manufacturing, Construction, Telecommunications, Energy, IT, Oil and Gas and non-profit organizations.

During my professional engagement as a tax expert, I mainly looked after:

• Direct and in-direct taxation compliance; and
• Tax advisory for Local and foreign Entities;
• Tax litigation & Representations before tax authorities;
• Accounting, book-keeping & payroll Assignments;
• Financial Modeling and relevant consulting Assignments.

Around 8 years of practical experience in which I mainly looked after:

• Income and sales tax registrations of businesses with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and provincial sales tax authorities;
• Direct and indirect tax compliances;
• Tax advisory for local and foreign entities;
• Tax representations & litigations before tax authorities;
• Accounting, book-keeping & payroll assignments;
• Capacity building assignments of tax collecting authorities;
