Managing all operational activities in soft services including housekeeping, mailroom, reception, pest control, landscaping, helpdesk, reprographics, and management and conference rooms.
- Supervising activities of housekeeping to ensure proper cleanliness standards, maintenance of safety standards and infection control.
- Maintain constant awareness of the cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of the hospital.
- Inspect and responsible for hygiene and sanitation of assigned area and ensure they meet standard.
- Ensure that the housekeeping staff is working in accordance to the hospital's rules.
- Make sure that all cleaning supplies are appropriately labeled.
- Ensure that management is handled properly and all safety procedures are being taken into account when mixing chemicals and detergents.
- Arrange for materials used for cleaning from housekeeping store and coordinate project work and CQI activities.
- Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
- Immediately reporting and documenting to management any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures.
- Prepare daily supervisory inspection report and forward it to the senior supervisor.
- Inspect all patient's rooms after checkout and release for new admissions only when they have met the cleaning standards.
- Arrange adequate and efficient coverage to all areas by distributing staff efficiently on daily basis.
- Inspect all equipment on daily basis to ensure that equipment are clean and they are in good operational condition.
- Discuss routine activities with other Supervisors on daily basis.
- Handle all cleaning request by assigning the concerned person.
- Monitor use of consumable supplies to ensure control and judicious use of the housekeeping supplies.
- Provide on the on job Functional training to staff.
- Managing weekly Rotas for all Facility Staff.
- Conducting soft skills training for Facility staff.
- Managing day-to-day issues of Warehouse/Supply staff.
- Keeping record of staff's leaves and attendance.
- Developing policies and SOPs for the company and communicating it to the staff.
- Creating job descriptions/job specifications and KPIs for each position.
