Shabana Mumtaz

I am Shabana Mumtaz Graduate of Economics from Gilgit Baltistan. I had been working with some of the local organization in different capacities and working as a corporate consultant , previously worked with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Company Registration Office Gilgit Baltistan where my responsibilities are to assist registrar of the companies.

I reflect a varied personality including ambition and the qualities of self-motivated, hard work and care. I am also well determined and vigorous individual. When I was at my secondary and higher secondary school there were limited range of the subjects which were being offered, I had to choose pre-medical because my experimental skills were strong.

Having born in an area which is under developed and presently which is going through various stages of development, changed my perception and evoked me a sense to study economics as my career subject. Such experience forced me seek out the prerequisites of the development. I found myself more concern about the standard of living, for which I had to pursue my career in one of the subject which is meant for the social development.
