This is where I plan lessons or learning engagements that directly address the skills or knowledge I want my students to learn. I plan these lessons with my learning objective in mind, which is usually what skill I am teaching or what bit of knowledge I want them to understand. Just a little side note here, I usually begin my units with a provocation or a lesson that is going to grab my students’ attention and get them excited about what we will be learning.
