I got commissioned in Pakistan Navy on 1st Jan 1993. After doing my degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 and obtaining my Marine Engineering Competency Certificate in 1996, I got opportunity to get employed as a professional Mechanical/ Marine Engineer. The same availed me an opportunity to work on variety of positions in various organizations within as well as outside Pakistan Navy.

I have worked on various projects that have allowed me to attain a hand on experience in almost all sub fields of Mechanical Engineering. I have served on following important appointments:

• Served at various field and staff appointments as a Technical officer.
• Deputy Manager Planning & Coordination Division, PN Dockyard Karachi for a year. 
• Staff Officer Mechanical/ Marine Engineering at HQ Coastal Command Karachi for 05 years.
• Marine Engineer and Motor Transport Officer at 1st Marines Bn, Distt Thatta and Sujawal (Sindh Province) for more than 02 years.
• Deputy Assistant Director “B-Vehicle” group at MVRDE Rawalpindi for almost 04 years.
• Around two years as Deputy Manager (AC & HVAC) at Shore Installation & Maintenance Division PN Dockyard.
• One year each as Instructor Marine Engineering School PNS Karsaz and Staff Officer (MT) at HQ COMKAR.
• Deputy Marine Engineer and Liquid/ Cargo Officer onboard a PN Oil Tanker for one year.
