I, Hafiz Muhammad Umar working as an Assistant Manager (Librarian) at the College of E&ME, National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. I have gained over a decade of experience in library operations. I express my strong interest in your Institute.

With a deep passion for library and a track record of exceptional performance in library management, I am excited to contribute my professional skills and advancement of knowledge in your institute.

As a Librarian, my responsibilities have included managing digital resources, acquiring a wide range of reading materials, providing assistance to researchers, maintaining a digital library, and ensuring top-tier user services. Moreover, I have been involved in staff management, record-keeping, and the preservation of valuable documents. In addition to these responsibilities, I have honed my skills in advanced cataloging, classification, and subject indexing, while also becoming proficient in library management software such as Koha, LIMS, and Calibre.

I played a key role in establishing Pakistan's first digital medical library, where I implemented cutting-edge technologies like QR codes and ensured that the library's resources were efficiently organized and accessible. I am also the member of our ISO Certification (9001:2015 ) committee.

My educational background includes an M. Phil in Library and Information Sciences, a Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS), and a Bachelor of Education. These qualifications have provided me with a strong foundation in library sciences, allowing me to excel in my roles and contribute to the academic and research community effectively.
