• Project Management. Oversee the technical soundness of new initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to the staff; this includes guidance regarding techniques, problem solving, methodologies and quality control.
• Perform serial dilutions and enumerate target microorganisms according to standard operating procedures.
• Detect pathogens that may cause foodborne illness using DNA and Protein-based methods.

• Strong grip in Microbial testing of pre-process samples and sterility testing of final sterilized products.
• Perform method verification and method validation of all microbial analysis with intertek Global Team.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with the laboratory’s QA/QC system and more especially ISO/IEC 17025.
• Maintenance & calibration of lab equipment’s with data control.
• Facilitate operations regarding new queries related to food testing.
• Perform intermediate checks for Microbiology section and trend analysis of equipment.
• Perform analysis for the purpose of uncertainty measurement.
• Perform On-line testing for products at various stages implementing GHP (Good Hygiene Practices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Lab Practices) and HACCP in the industry. 
• Prepare and revise documents as per requirement of standard ISO 17025.
• Participate in professional development activities (i.e. active participation in appropriate organizations, attending trainings and seminars, etc.)
• Consult with Seiner QC Manager to ensure all applicable policies and procedures of intertek Food, water & environment Laboratories.
• Ensure the quality of the products and processes to meet the standard & Specification from raw material to finished product.
• Ensure compliance with PFA (Punjab Food Authority) standards.
• In-line & on-line inspection and testing of products.
• Verify and ensure compliance from storage of raw materials to till finished product. 
• Daily, weekly, monthly sanitation auditing, Personnel hygiene and Pest control auditing in the factory. 
• Supervising the Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaners and allotting tasks. 
• Drinking water and waste water testing. 
• Utilize aseptic techniques during sample preparation and microbiological/chemical analyses. 
• Tracking environmental microorganism development and area monitoring. 
• Maintain labeling, handling, storage and disposal of biohazard and hazardous waste. 
• Make sure of all the control measure like OPRP, PRP, CCP, Risk Assessment and Products Recall Exercise. 
• Document and record accurate data using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and ERP. 
• Manage time and tasks efficiently while maintaining an exceptional quality of work. 
• Implementation of ISO 14001, 9001, 45001, HFMS PS (3733), FSSC 22000 and PAF standards. 
• Organizing and conducting training schedule for food handlers. 
• Provide induction, on job training to all employees on FSMS, QMS, and HFMS. 
• Reporting to manager regarding any Nonconformance noticed.
