About

I am a qualified Electronics Engineer with dynamic experience ranging from working on hospital equipment i.e laboratory, radiology, medical, operation theater, blood bank, ENT, and other hospital equipment.

I have progressive experience in biomedical engineering and possess impeccable skills in analyzing needs, repairing, installation, calibration, inventory and procurement of biomed equipment. I am currently working for Directorate General of Health Services in KPK province as electromedical engineer where I am directly responsible for a variety of jobs mainly including drafting SOP’s for maintenance of biomedical equipment’s in the provincial hospitals, analyzing the needs of the hospitals, writing specifications of equipment’s needed for procurements and assessment of medical equipment’s suppliers and producers. We also oversee the essential contracts with the suppliers for medical equipment from supply to installation, commissioning and testing and also responsible for the inventories of medical equipment’s in few of the government hospitals across the province.

I am also working to ensure Periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and calibration of equipment and actively involved in trainings of the technical persons working in the end user units.

Experience

Electro Medical Engineer at Procurement Cell, Directorate General Health Services, Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from December 2016 till date.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed inventory of all of equipment installed in different health facilities i.e. All secondary and primary health facilities in KPK province Pakistan.
Ensure Periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and calibration of equipment.
Maintain Bio Medical product supplier database.
Develop technical specifications of Bio Medical equipment.
Technical comparisons of competing items.
To assist the procuring entity in Procurement Planning.
