Iam an aspiring lawyer with a passion and dedication who has graduated from University of London in August 2022. Highly organised and skilled in public speaking.Thrives in dynamic environment and quickly adapts to the ever-changing demands of the legal field. Adept in preparing for trials, reviewing documents. A strong leader who works well under pressure and understands the complexities of the legal system.
When I undertook an internship with a Barrister, I felt even more driven to achieve my goal of being a top-tier lawyer while still in law school where I was able to witness a criminal trial up close. I learned about the court's operations and how cases were handled and contested by attending court with an outside clerk. There I gained a better grasp of how the criminal justice system works through observing proceeding and engaging with attorneys and barristers whenever feasible.
This made me realise that in my country law and order situation is gravely compromised through witnessing small injustices that were prevalent in my community. I noticed that people were treated differently, often according to their background status than their actual behaviour. This made me wonder how the law, which proclaims unequivocally that all persons are equal in the eyes of the judicial system, might be administered more evenly across the country.
I was very soon promoted to the position of an associate where I got more familiar with the legal system of Pakistan. I got the opportunity to appear in the lower Courts of Sindh Karachi as I received my license to plead, thus I handled various pro-bono cases which included family cases related to domestic violence and matrimonial disputes.
