DP World’s Shipping Solutions EAM is looking for a curious, proactive, and service-minded Cargo Execution Agent to join our team in Gdynia. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with operational processes, is comfortable making decisions, and can maintain a high level of service in a dynamic environment.

Working in Cargo Execution at Shipping Solutions EAM

As a Cargo Execution Agent, your primary responsibility is to proactively manage customer booking requirements, support optimal vessel utilization, and ensure smooth coordination across the cargo execution process while balancing customer demands and operational priorities.

This position is based in Gdynia, Poland, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues across teams and functions within Shipping Solutions.

You will report to the Cargo Execution Manager Outports who is based in Gdynia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Respond to sailing requests and create pre-bookings in the system
• Update bookings and ensure booking data accuracy
• Conduct daily capacity checks and support capacity planning, including checking deep-sea vessel connections
• Maintain close contact with internal stakeholders across relevant functions
• Coordinate stowage readiness, send loading lists to terminals, and prepare IMO documentation
• Coordinate cargo readiness and finalize vessel documentation

Who are you?

You have experience in customer service, logistics, shipping, or a related field. Experience in the container shipping industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Curious and proactive
• Service-minded and solution-oriented
• Comfortable with decision-making and problem-solving
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken

Furthermore, we expect you to:

• Have a good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Be self-driven and able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work under time pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Show adaptability and a positive mindset when facing changing priorities
