Data and Reporting Developer

We are looking for a Data and Reporting Developer to join the Data & Analytics Office (DAO) team. This role focuses on delivering data technology solutions, building data models, and creating reporting and visualization tools that support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Qlik Sense, and Python, to design and implement secure, automated data pipelines and analytics solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain data technology solutions for analytics and reporting
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and big data systems
• Perform data ingestion, sourcing, aggregation, and feature engineering
• Design and implement ETL processes and ensure secure data movement
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in Looker Studio and other BI tools
• Develop data pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and governance teams to improve data flows
• Provide complex reporting solutions using Google Cloud and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Utilize Python, T-SQL, and other technologies for data processing and analytics
• Document processes, create roadmaps, and maintain technical documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in data engineering, reporting, and analytics development
• Strong knowledge of SQL programming and relational database systems
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Looker Studio)
• Proficiency in Python and T-SQL
• Familiarity with ETL tools, data modeling, and data lifecycle management
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Qlik Sense, Power BI)
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with PowerApps, Alteryx, Collibra
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated deployment
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools
