The role focuses on designing and executing data migration processes, ensuring the accurate transfer of complex insurance data structures from legacy systems to a new platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data migration pipelines using Python and Apache AirflowExtract, transform and load insurance data from legacy systems into the new platformWork with complex insurance data models including policy, quote, endorsement, coverage and policy transactionsEnsure data quality, consistency and validation throughout the migration processCollaborate with architects, business analysts and engineering teams to define migration logicTroubleshoot data issues and optimize migration workflowsSupport testing phases and migration execution during deployment cyclesRequirementsStrong experience with PythonHands-on experience with Apache AirflowExperience in data migration or data engineering projectsStrong understanding of insurance domain data models (policy, quote, endorsement, coverage etc.)Experience working with ETL processes and large datasetsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsNice to HaveExperience with EIS insurance platformExperience in large insurance system transformations
