DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support project teams in designing and building secure reliable and scalable cloud solutions

Provide oncall support and participate in major incident management activities

Troubleshoot technical issues and drive incident resolution

Manage and support AWS cloud accounts and platform services

Collaborate with development teams to deliver secure and efficient application deployments

Automate operational processes and infrastructure management activities

Create and maintain technical and operational documentation

Implement and support CICD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions

Ensure security reliability and operational excellence across cloud environments

Work within Agile and DevOps delivery models to support continuous improvement initiatives To be successful in this role you should have:

Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud platform operations

Experience supporting enterprisescale cloud infrastructure environments

Strong Python development or scripting and automation skills

Understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies

Experience with CICD processes and deployment automation

Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Experience with Git and source code management practices

Strong Linux andor Windows administration skills

Experience managing incidents troubleshooting complex issues and providing production support

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge of cloud security best practices and secure solution design

Experience leading or supporting major incident investigations

AWS Certification is desirable

Strong Terraform expertise is advantageous

Linux or Windows certifications are beneficial

Experience with NonFunctional Testing is desirable

Understanding of Risk Management and Compliance requirements is a plus

Experience working within highly regulated industries is preferred
