Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead (Java | Azure)

Join us to help modernize a leading investment accounting platform used by global financial institutions.

As a hands-on engineering leader, you'll design and build scalable, cloud-ready services that support high-volume accounting and data processing. You'll work across architecture, development, and production support, helping transform legacy applications into modern API-first solutions.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance scalable backend services using Java.
• Develop cloud-based solutions supporting real-time and batch processing.
• Modernize legacy platforms and drive cloud adoption.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and security.
• Collaborate with global teams across Product, Architecture, and Operations.
• Drive best practices in CI/CD, automation, testing, and DevOps.
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions from design through production.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience building enterprise-scale software systems.
• Strong Java and API development experience.
• Expertise with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and work effectively in distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Financial services, accounting, or transaction processing experience.
• Exposure to Oracle, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, Python, or Angular.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
