Full Stack Javascript Developer

JOB PURPOSE

At Spark, we build secure, scalable, and intelligent digital systems that power business operations for global teams.

This role sits within the Technical team, supporting the design, development, and maintenance of front-end systems that enable SPARK’s business activity. Working closely with the Technical Project Manager and Java Architect, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions by building efficient, secure, and maintainable code.

You will play a key role in translating technical requirements into working applications, participating in feature design, and ensuring that development outputs align with architectural standards and secure development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Delivery

• Work with the Technical Project Manager to agree timing, scope, and deliverables
• Participate in feature design discussions and contribute technical insight and ideas
• Develop and maintain front-end systems supporting SPARK’s business applications
• Create and execute structured task lists across the full project lifecycle
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with Java Architect best practices
• Ensure all code is securely managed within the source code repository
• Follow system design and technical direction outlined in the Project Summary, escalating deviations where necessary
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Collaboration & Delivery Support

• Work closely with backend developers, architects, and Technical Project Managers to deliver integrated solutions
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively
• Support cross-functional coordination across technical workstreams
• Participate in technical reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards

What You’ll Bring

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of full-stack Java and JavaScript development experience
• Strong expertise in: ,Java Spring Framework, Node.js, React.js, TypeScript
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar AI code editors)
• Some experience with PHP and Drupal
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of secure development principles and best practices
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
