Fullstack Python Developer

For our client, a global consulting and professional services company specializing in risk management, insurance, and human capital solutions, we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Fullstack Python Developer.

Work mode: remote

Contract type: B2B

Rate: 160–210 PLN/h net (+ VAT) for candidates with 7+ years of experience

200–260 PLN/h net (+ VAT) for candidates with 10+ years of experience

Language: English C1 (business fluent)

Cooperation: 6-month B2B contract with possible extension and potential direct employment with the client

Project and Role Overview:

You will join a strategic initiative focused on building a core data platform that will serve as a centralized data repository across the organization. The project involves developing scalable cloud-based services, APIs, data-access layers, and modern web applications supporting data-intensive business processes. We are looking for a self-driven Full Stack Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of solutions from design through deployment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-hosted REST APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Build data-centric services integrated with cloud databases, data platforms, and external APIs
• Design and enhance event-driven architectures using message queues and streaming technologies
• Develop and maintain front-end components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Work with cloud services across Azure, AWS, or GCP, covering hosting, storage, networking, and managed database solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of features and services, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and frequent releases

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and at least one major web framework ( FastAPI , Django , or Flask )
• Proven experience designing and building cloud-based REST APIs in production environments
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL ; experience with NoSQL databases is an advantage
• Experience working with at least one major cloud provider ( Azure , AWS , or GCP )
• Front-end development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework
• Knowledge of API gateways, message queues, and event-driven architectures
• Understanding of security best practices for internet-facing APIs, including authentication, authorization, OWASP principles, secrets management, and encryption in transit and at rest
• Familiarity with Docker , Git , and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• English proficiency at C1 level
