Project Description:
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with commercial experience in JavaScript to join the team working on a project in the fashion retailing industry.
A successful candidate will contribute to developing various store and warehouse operations microservices and web applications utilized by the fashion company's internal employees.
We expect a communicative, flexible person who understands the business context as well as the technical design of the solution.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software components according to business/functional requirements
- Create unit tests
- Support the integration testing of developed services
- Analyze existing system source code and propose improvements when necessary
- Support and monitor the team's services deployed in the Production environment
- Participate actively in Refinements
- Communicate with the Customer
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Extensive coding experience in Java
- Knowledge of Java 21 new features
- Commercial experience with JavaScript
- Solid experience with the Spring framework
- Unit Tests (JUnit, Mockito)
- Solid experience in core Java (including data structures and multithreading)
- Experience with SQL and noSQL databases (experience with performance optimization)
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience with event streaming and message queuing systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ or any other)
- Ability to propose design and implement changes in complex systems
- Experience working in Scrum
- Proactive position, ability to facilitate a discussion or involve a colleague in a task-related collaboration
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism with excellent communication skills tailored to meet client needs.
